FPCC had shown its interest mainly in the gulf
regions since inception as Sri Lanka already exports
unskilled labour for such countries. Hence a cordial
relationship was made with the Sri Lankan Ambassador
to Kuwait HE Mr. Sarath Dissanayake through the
Ministry of External affairs on this matter.
The ambassador made a visit to Sri Lanka on June
2010 and negotiations were held at the GMOA Main
Office with regard to the above. As a result of
series of discussions a formal request was sent by
the ambassador to the FPCC to send few selected CVs
as sample to be presented to the Kuwait Health
Authorities. He further stated that since there is
an existing programme to employ Sri Lankan nurses in
Kuwait, the chances of getting our Medical Officers
recruited is much higher.
Therefore, the Foreign Placement Coordinating Centre
is collecting CVs of those who are interested in
employment in Kuwait. Please formulate your detailed
CV according to the format below and forward to
fpccsrilanka@gmail.com.
